Abstract:
In this paper, we consider the diffraction of coherent light on a relief surface (one-dimensional case) of finite conductivity in the framework of the Kirchhoff theory and in the far-field approximation. An algorithm for solving this task is developed using the algorithm of a fast Fourier transform. The latter allows to reduce the time spent on a computer-aided simulation. The dependences of the reflected energy on the refractive index, the absorption coefficient of the material, and the state of polarization of the downward radiation are determined.
