Abstract:
Let us consider a dielectric binary diffraction grating, which is periodic along the x axis, with the groves directed along the y axis. Suppose that a plane wave is incident on this grating at an angle θ in the plane (x, z), and the electric vector of a linearly polarized wave is directed along the y axis (the case of a TE - polarization).
