Phase filter for selection of angular harmonics

Abstract:
This paper considers the DOEs intended for the selection of angular harmonics present in a laser beam. An angular harmonic is a complex exponential function, the argument of which is linearly dependent on the polar angle, and the integer aspect ratio is its number. An 8-channel phase DOE was designed for the selection of angular harmonics with the numbers ± 1, ± 2, ± 3, ± 4, and numerical simulation was performed for Bessel and Gauss-Laguerre beams.
