Abstract:
The article investigates and compares the methods of non-contact determination of the curvature radius of a spherical surface based on the image of a slit formed on the surface and recorded by a TV camera. An optical scheme was developed for entering the image into a computer. The radius of the metal ball (6.55 mm) was determined with an accuracy of 2% based on a section of an ellipse arc with a length of about 400 pixels and a deflection of about 50 pixels.
