Abstract:
Computational algorithms for substances identification and concentration calculation by processing FTIR spectra with moderate resolution in 7-14 micrometer wavelength range are investigated. Algorithms make it possible to identify substances in the open atmosphere by processing a single FTIR spectrum. Instead of solving multi-dimensional system of linear equations it is suggested to solve one or several one-dimensional problem. Transfer to one-dimensional problem is done by the use of correlation analysis. Influence of input spectra noise on the errors in reconstructed concentrations is investigated.
