Abstract:
The problem of restoring images subjected to linear distortions such as defocusing or smearing based on the results of the direct identification of the parameters of the inverse recovery FIR filter is tackled. The fundamental possibility of achieving a different regularizing effect by a simple linear data transformation is shown. An iterative procedure involving a set of low-order models is proposed.
