Abstract:
The article considers the approaches to the solution of the system of equations that provides the
target paraxial and aberration characteristics of the optical system. It shows the ways to extract a
number of subsystems, which can be solved analytically, from this system of equations. The practical
implementation of iterative methods for solving a system of high-order compensation equations
is discussed.
