Abstract:
The linear models with constant (space-wise) parameters are convenient in many respects for solving problems of evaluation (identification) of characteristics. Piecewise constant approximation by a set of shift-invariant linear models on small fragments of images is applied, if the distortions are nonlinear and (or) spatially dependent.
