Abstract:
This paper presents a system for digital input, processing and archiving of binary, multi-gradation black-and-white and color images, it describes the methods and software for processing archive images and their abbreviated description. The use of effective means of video data processing and storage provides a compact database with fast access to its contents, as well as user-friendly ways to view and select the necessary information. The created database is multifunctional, but it is focused primarily on solving problems of digitalization of cultural and historical heritage.
