Asymptotic methods of calculating the fields generated by DOE within the framework of electromagnetic theory

Abstract:
In recent years, much attention has been paid to calculating a wave field formed by a diffractive optical element (DOE). Inverse problems of this kind arise when designing DOEs generating a target intensity distribution. These optical elements are called laser focusators. Focusators are used to solve technological problems associated with laser treatment of materials. However, in the majority of works, field reconstruction problems are solved within the framework of the scalar theory. In this work, the problem is solved within the framework of the electromagnetic theory.
