Interaction of two soliton pulses in a nonlinear multimode waveguide

Abstract:
The paper [1] performs a numerical study of the evolution of amplitude envelopes of one-soliton laser pulses corresponding to the modes with different phase velocities in a nonlinear multimode waveguide. This paper presents the results for two-soliton pulses corresponding to different mode packages. The paper provides a computational investigation of the decay of two-soliton pulses into one-soliton pulses.
