Abstract:
The paper considers an algorithm for calculating the refractive index of a two-dimensional medium, which converts the target amplitude-phase distribution at the input into the target amplitudephase distribution at the output. The algorithm includes the ray tracing inside the gradient optical element to match the input and output, and the numerical solution of the differential equation for the refractive index of the gradient optical element.
