Hybrid refractive-diffractive null system for interferometric testing of deep aspherical surfaces

Abstract:
Hybrid diffractive-refractive wavefront corrector (null system) for high-precision control of high-aperture (f/1.5) aspherical surfaces using a Fizeau interferometer was designed and investigated. A new simple method for aligning all the elements of optical scheme was proposed and tested. The experimental results of studying the optical system and testing an aspherical mirror surface shape are presented.
