Abstract:
This paper presents a mathematical model of a solution crystallization based on physical processes. The model is based on the processes of diffusion and mass transfer, which depend on the probabilities of crystallization and dissolution. These processes are used to develop a discrete macroscopic model that combines the physical state of elementary cells of the medium at each moment of time. Algorithms for dynamic visualization of the crystallization process are developed. The influence of some parameters of the solution on the shape of the growing crystals is studied experimentally.
