Abstract:
An iterative gradient method for the design of a glossy reflective diffraction element (with a sawtooth relief) forming a given angular distribution, is described. The method uses the Kirchhoff approximation and is applicable for the surfaces with finite conductivity. It has been shown that glossy elements are convenient for making a binary relief.
