Abstract:
The problem of designing diffractive optical elements (DOE) with a quantized phase is defined as the problem of minimizing the functional with restrictions. The possibility of regularizing the algorithm is considered. A numerical comparison of the results of applying the algorithm for gradient and iterative (according to the Herchberg-Sexton algorithm) methods of minimizing the functional is provided.
