Abstract:
In this paper, prolongate zero-order spheroidal wave functions are applied to increase the resolution of images obtained by optical systems with a limited pupil. This approach is compared with linear interpolation and interpolation by score functions (Kotelnikov functions). A one-dimensional case is considered, which can easily be extended to a two-dimensional case for a rectangular pupil.
