Simulation model of control of thermal effect on materials of high-energy sources

Abstract:
A model has been developed to control the thermal effect that the energy sources with spacetime modulation of density distribution produce on the materials. Theoretical and experimental studies of forming the required temperature distribution in the materials have been performed. The calculated values of temperatures for the selected groups of materials in the wide ranges of movement speed and power of the heat source are satisfactorily consistent with the experimental values (error δT≤15...20%).
