Abstract:
Wide functionality, minimal weight and size, and low cost of replication provide good prospects for the application of diffractive optical elements (DOE) in lighting devices. This refers primarily to the devices that generate monochromatic radiation. However, the development of modern technologies for creating "quasi-diffractive" (or "harmonic" [1, 2]) optical elements with a relief height proportional to a large number of wavelengths allows both to preserve the advantages of diffractive optics, and to minimize the chromatic aberrations of the DOE. This article is devoted to the experimental investigation of lighting devices, the design of which is described in [5].
